A leading poet of today's Bangladesh. Habibullah Sirajee is currently President of JatiyaKabita Parishad (National Poetry Council), widely known in SAARC countries and beyond for its unique poetry festival held on Feb 1 and 2 every year with participation of some hundred poets from home and abroad. Having more than fifty published titles to his credit, he also writes fiction, essays and literary criticism quite frequently. As a poet he has mastered a diction of his own with uncommon imageries, word-associations along with different brand of syntax patterns.
