Moinak Biswas Professor of Film Studies at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and the Coordinator of The Media Lab at Jadavpur. He edits the Journal of the Moving Image, and co-edits BioScope, South Asian Screen Studies. He writes on Indian film and culture.
