Dana Arnold

Dana Arnold (born 22 June 1961) is a British art historian and academic, specialising in architectural history. Since 2016, she has been Professor of Art History at the University of East Anglia. She previously taught at the University of Leeds, the University of Southampton and the University of Middlesex. Arnold was born on 22 June 1961. She studied at Westfield College, London, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1983. She attended the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, graduating with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in 1984, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 1997 or 1998. Her doctoral thesis was titled "The architect and the metropolis: the work of James and Decimus Burton in London and Dublin, c. 1800-1840
